As all the other villas, they were constructed during my absences since I was raising my children in the great country of Lebanon. I would come yearly to spend the summer with the kids, and see the progress of whatever new villa was being “born”.
When I saw the chimney that I had requested too big for its space, I asked Don Mario to please reduce its size. We all laughed when I said: it feels that here the main guest is the chimney…however at Villas Xichu the main guest is always our guest.”
