La Casa de la Rosa Rosa takes its name after a bush of pink roses just next to it. However it was not a normal rose bush; it was a resilient one which had survived the debris and passage of the construction workers.

I “encountered” this fantastic sculpture in the cantera stone town of Escolasticas while getting cantera stone for the construction of La Casa de la Rosa Rosa. It took 8 men to slide on watermelon peels that eagle up to where you see it standing now.
